Highlights
At My Own Pace (Pianu Pianu)
The world keeps rushing. We choose our own pace.
Mediterranean pop rap dance, English and Sicilian voices, sun, sea, and rhythm: At My Own Pace (Pianu Pianu) celebrates the freedom to live on your own time.
Slow down without standing still. Breathe, feel, and let life move you, pianu pianu.
About us
Soleada came to life in the mid-Nineties as a live band, with an instinctive Mediterranean soul. For years, gypsy, flamenco, and Latin music were our natural ground: rhythm, physical presence, celebration, and performance. On stage we were body and movement, the warmth of a shared evening, a direct conversation with the people listening.
Over time, live activity became less frequent, but the project never stopped. Today we continue through songs, reinterpretations, and new productions, carrying with us the memory of the stage and the desire to transform it into new forms.
Some songs we wrote and composed years ago are now being revisited and reimagined. Others are being created today through the creative technologies available to us, exploring new sounds, atmospheres, and possibilities.
Whether a song takes on a new form or starts from scratch, the point of departure remains the same: words, themes, and musical directions that feel genuinely ours.
It is different from playing live, but it carries the same energy: staying close, continuing to create, having fun, and letting the songs travel even when life takes each of us somewhere else.
That same warmth lives in the songs today: familiar roots, new forms, and the same desire to move people.
